Here's some of what I experienced as I tried this machine out after purchasing it for my mother. The things that I think bear in mind were that you shouldn't use it for cherries as the pits might eventually dull the blade. That according to the information that came with it. Used some grapes and it worked fine. Tastiest grape juice I ever drank. It was like real without all the garbage added in. Negative it takes like a bunch of grapes to equal a glass. Still if it's as healthy as they say it's probably worth it just to get the vitamins. I wouldn't recommend throwing a whole apple into the machine. Cut it up. I threw a whole apple into it once and it seemed to get stuck. The machine got hot and I had to wait for it to cool before it came back on. Once I made sure the pieces fit though it worked out fine. Never leave the machine just sitting after you juice. It will be harder to clean later. Go ahead and clean it after you're done. My mom also had a good idea to make enough juice to store for at least a day. I've read the juice doesn't hold as many vitamins that way, but it's bound to better than than store bought juice even if it's a few hours old and will save a lot of time. Final analysis: Maybe a little bit of a hassle as compared to the commercials, but should be ok as long as you take it easy and take good care of it. The main objective after all is to get vitamins to your body without all the bad extra sugar and other junk added you get in a store bought drink. About delivery: Seems to be slower ordering straight from the Jack Lalanne site than from the Amazon link. My mother's got here in a week that I ordered through Amazon, but after ordering mine straight from the Lalanne site I'm still waiting for them to ship it. At least their site hasn't shown it shipped in a weeks time so far. Update: After receiving a letter a month later asking if I still wanted to purchase the juicer through the Jackl LaLanne site I opted to not purchase it through the main site. Much faster from my personal experience to get it from Amazon or other store. So keep that in mind.
