I love all of the Star Trek series from the Original through Enterprise. I've seen every episode of every series on TV. The quality of the series gets 4 stars. 1 star comes off for this series due to the high price. I don't understand why Star Trek DVDs are so expensive. They are easily 3 to 5 times the cost of other comparable series DVDs. I recently bought the complete series of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman for 5 times less money. There are 7 seasons of Voyager while Dr. Quinn has 6 but the Dr. Quinn set included the TV movies. Both series are quality shows. I can't support this product with my hard earned money. I don't think it's fair to the fan or customer to be gouged by the studio that released this product. I wonder if it's because of the Star Trek cult status. I've bought dozens of TV series on DVD (The Incredible Hulk, Babylon 5, Farscape, Magnum PI, The X-Files, just to name a few) but have yet to purchase any of the Star Trek series. While I usually catch series DVDs on sale to avoid paying top dollar, I never seem to catch the Star Trek series on sale at a good price. Until that happens, I won't be adding them to my collection.

Out of all the Star Trek that my boyfriend has made me watch, Voyager is the only series I could really get into. I used to TiVo it regualarly from Spike but stopped showing it consistantly and now that I don't have cable I began to experience Voyager withdrawal. It was at the top of my Christmas list this year and I jumped for joy when I opened all seven seasons of it. The packaging is confusing. What is shown in the product photo is just of the exterior boxes lined up. Each season is in a dinky box that you need to open from both ends to push out the inner tray that is wrapped in it own cardboard sleeve. Inside the tray is a tri fold of pockets holding the dvds. All that paper and all you get is a flimsy plastic trifold (like what they put in the old cheap CD cases you got as carnival prizes). Opening the boxes is very precarious if you want to preserve the casing. I opted to toss the cardboard sleeve as it made pulling out the tray very difficult. I am happy that paramount released the entire series to own but couldn't they at least stack the CDs in a cheapy plastic case? Oh well, I now own Voyager and am happy. Anyone know where I can buy empty cases that can hold a season? :)

Watch Out For Bootlegs of the Voyager set! There are many! If it's not the clear plastic box, but a cardboard one, you bought a lower quality bootleg! Ask the dealer before buying, and proceed with caution! Beware the ones selling much cheaper new. I was duped, but thankfully Amazon refunded me.

I think Voyager is the most fun Trek series! I love tough female characters, so naturally, this one is my favorite, and the Doctor is AWESOME!!! There are a few really bad episodes, but the really good ones more than make up for it! Also, I found this series on Craigslist for only $125 (brand new!!!), so it was worth it for me. Amazon's prices are crazy!
