Bought this because I thought it was compatible with all types of disks. I had home movies burned to a DVD. It was able to play them, but froze every few minutes for 20 seconds, so I had to return it. Otherwise I think it performed very well. Just did not meet my needs.

There is no better unit on the market that I have found...
Loads fast...color settings are faithful to the media does not add over done colors or other garish definition or resolution for the sake of showing off....

It's a great blue ray. A little pricey but well worth it. I did 'cheat' and have a professional install it however. Just too complicated with too many features. In fact, the "pro" had to contact the manufacturer to get it working. But, the "pro" said that the tech support was very friendly and helpful. She plans on recommending this product to some of her customers.

I have been following this Blu-Ray player since it was released to the public for sale last year.
This player is everything i had hoped for and more. Plays everything i have thrown at it without
any hiccup at all. Got rid of two dvd players with this purchase. Packaging is great and amazon
delivered on time as promised. Oh! Did i mention that the tech support is great as well? Received

Oppo does not work as advertised, I have no video and some audio formats work and others do not, tried to return and I was told that I had had it too long, 31 days spent trying on different HDTV and different formats. Sound no better than old player and not worth the money
