I would likely rate this a 5 star if it came free with a string of lights. I have thrown away strings of lights or been frustrated when they go out on the tree for years. I've said for the same number of years "I should buy one of those light testers". But when our relatively expensive wire formed lighted reindeer when half dark and my brother had given us an Amazon gift card for Christmas.....well, it was time. My husband was having trouble with the Christmas tree lights, we had heard about how wonderful this product was....Sooooo...off we go to try and find one. Looked everywhere but, of course, couldn't. Ordered it on line and it was delivered promptly. My husband was very disappointed because it certainly did not do what it claimed. Could not find out the problem with the lights (on two trees).
