Setup was straight forward and menu system was seemed more intuitive than my Sony player. I added a 4GB USB drive to system and change the setup to use the external memory. The Netflix streaming is great. You can't tell the difference between streamin and disc in terms of quality. Highly recommend this anyone. You get your bang for the buck.

The Samsung BD-3600 is AWESOME. Not only does it play DVDs and Blu-Ray disks just like you'd expect, it also connects to the internet and provides functionality previously only provided by your PC. Equipped with WIFI, the BD-3600 quickly connected to my home network and within minutes, I was watching NetFlix movies online and listening to Pandora Internet Radio. This is the shape of great things to come!

We decided to take a chance on this player despite the negative reviews. We're shipping our defective unit back to Amazon tomorrow. After a couple of weeks, the unit could not read whether a disc was loaded or not, it stopped responding to the remote control _and_ the panel controls, and finally froze with a disc in it. CNET has an entire discussion forum devoted to why Samsung BD players are have such poor quality and we learned our lesson.

This unit failed 1 week after the 90 day warranty. It will not recongize Blu-ray disks and will not save network settings (etc). Since it's out of warranty, the labor charge for a repair is $85. If you want to avoid the feeling of being scrwd by a major manufacturer, I highly recomment not buying this product. It DOES have a nice glossy finish though. Gonna go back to my old Sony Blu-ray which has worked reliably for several years.
