My family loves Wii Resort. We received this for Christmas and have played it countless times. The games are fun, challenging and my entire family (from the 4 year old to the adults) have a blast with this.
The only issue we have had with it is the Motion Remote goes a little batty sometimes - but it has a quick fix to calibrate it.

We were hopeful when we bought this that my 6 year old, who is the main user of the Wii, would be able to easily control and play the games. So far, we are not disappointed.
There are a few games that she has yet to master. Canoeing, for example, is beyond her grasp. But things like skydiving and bicycle races are really piquing her interest. She is loving basketball and archery. Even frisbee throwing!
So if you are considering this for a younger child, do it!

This is a far more satisfying game than Wii Sports was in my opinion, It advertises 12 sports on the front, but its really more than that, many of the sports listed have multiple game modes that use the same control scheme, but feel like other games in and of themselves, for instance the sword game has three modes: duel mode, speed slice mode, and showdown mode. Duel mode and show down mode feel like games in themselves while speed slice feels like a mini game one would find in a mario party game. ... Read More

Wii Sports resort is the sequel to Wii Sports, and it is just as fun if not more fun. The problem is not only that there are repeat games from Wii Sports, but you are also required to have an accessory to the wiimote (the accessory is called the Wii Motion Plus), and you can't play the games without it. I am having so much fun with these games. 4i days in a row and I am not at all bored. I use this in conjunction with wii fit plus, wii fit allows you to add in any extra activities you are doing and get a calorie burning count and credit for extra workouts. I am using the Sport Resort after meals to keep my blood sugar in check, it should be a diabetic treatment it works so well.
