This FC Twin Video Game System has separate circuitry and card slots for both hardware NES and Super Nintendo Entertainment System, allowing it to play games for both consoles. It features a single-pole, double-throw power switch with open position; the switch can be thrown to 8-Bit (NES) or 16-Bit (SNES), or opened to Off. The FC Twin console uses Super Nintendo compatible controllers and devices such as the Super Scope, but cannot use Nintendo compatible controllers and devices such as the NES Zapper peripheral for Duck Hunt. The Super Nintendo controller buttons otherwise map to the NES controller inputs. The FC Twin connects through an RCA connector, and can be hooked into a surround sound system. When using stereo and surround output from these systems, NES sounds and music may seem very different from their typical mono output. Using output modes that properly generate mono sound, either through a single center speaker or cloned to multiple speakers, the sound output sounds mostly identical to the original NES. Now you can enjoy both the NES and the Super NES retro games without looking to replace both of your broken gaming systems. The FC Twin Video Game System is fully compatible with the FC Super Pad Controller

This is a great alternative to buying both NES and SNES or buying a Wii. I was going to buy a Wii so I could purchase and play these older games using the Wii market place. However it was so much cheaper to spend $37 on the system and $100 on original games, rather than $350 - $400 for the Wii and the parts I wanted.

This twin game system deserves the highest rating that can be given. It is great for any collector of NES and SNES games. It plays great with no problems at all. You have the convenience of one system that can play both types of games without having to disconnect one system and hooking another up. We love playing this game system. But the wires are so touchy...that you can easily lose the sound or the picture. Sometimes in the middle of a game we have to mess with the wires to get the sound or picture back.

I love super nintendo, but I'm uncertain about this system. It seems to act stragely sometimes. Sometimes it works great and other times it seems to "act up!" Sometimes the game will just dissapear as I'm playing, or the controller will just stop working. Sometimes getting it going is a challenge. I don't like that there is no "eject" button.
