this is cool if you like final fantasy 8 and 9, or spyro. had good graphics (still does). playstation 3 does not play playstation 1 or 2 games, so a must have for the first ones....

I know those are big words but I think I have the best memories of great games on this system than any other. There are just so many amazing games for it. I like the original version of the ps1 better than the smaller version ( I have both). It happens to be my favorite looking system also. I could go on and on about the reasons I love this system but I'll keep it short and sweet. Weird, the 1 star one seem to all be based on seller feedback.
Anyway, this is an excellent console. I recommend it, though you could just as easily get a PS2.
However, if you want the original, buy it.
