I love star trek...let's get that part out of the way on the front end. If you do not enjoy star trek, why are you looking at this item? I kid I kid.
This is probably my favorite ST series of all time, a series that was cut down in its prime. As much entertaining the seasons are, they represent the combined and limited vision and wisdom of earthly beings and nothing else. Human vision cannot allow a more beautiful rendition of a superhuman, only an inferior one in the end. Even at fiction, human mind cannot transcend its own projection-in everything from a petty highway robbery to sex of which there is none in any "Season".

The series had some excellent writing and all the actors did a formidable job of being consistent and improving. The DVD set makes it easier to follow the continuing plots and story lines and gives the satisfaction of not having commercial interruption and having to "stay tuned for next week". Another advantage of having the series in a compressed time line is watching the characters evolve. Star Trek-Enterprise has been taking a lot of fire. I don't see it...I am going back through the entire series and all I've seen "bad" are one or two episodes that I think are weak, personally. I have found Star Trek-Enterprise to have plot depth and craftsmanship, series continuity, and character development. I think they are excellent and very well done.
