Listening to James Earl Jones read the New Testament is not be missed. Though Mr. Jones is not as compelling as I might have wished and it's obvious that he's merely reading through much of it rather than expressing the meaning of the words, it's still wonderful to listen to. His voice is, as always, deep and soothing and the words themselves make up for any lack in the delivery. So far I am pleased with most of what I am listening too. I have not listened to all of the CD's yet. I can tell you that Disk 3 has an area that skips. I am wondering if that is the same case of all of the CD's sold. I am going to purchase another one for my Pastor and see if I have the same problem with the one I purchase for him. Lookg forward to listening to the whole series. It will take a while though.

I bought the 64 cd set about 3 weeks ago. I have listened to about 12 CDs until now. There was "error reading" for a part of one CD; other than that, it was pretty good in sound and clarity. Now I listen to this instead of the news radio on my one hour commute to/from work.
