I've always loved the "Simon's Cat" videos on YouTube, so when I found out that Simon had published a book, buying it was a no-brainer. I enjoyed the book, although I think a lot of the humor from the videos didn't translate well to print. I think that the reason for that has to do with the humor from the videos being based much more on "real life". My husband recently introduced me to Simon's cat on Youtube. I immediately watched all the videos and wanted more. He told me there was a book and I hunted it down. I read the reviews and that some people said it lost some charm without the animation and sound, and that is true in some of the cases, but I still love Simon's cat and am thoroughly pleased with my purchase of this book. I hope that we will be seeing more of this little rascal and his adventures, whether they are animated or not.

This man is an utter genius. All the short cartoons nail my cats down to a tee. Love the book and so does the family. Always looking for more of his stuff and can't wait for what comes next.

I've had my share of cat books over the years, but this one ranks at Number One. It truly is hilarious. It ranks up there with "How to Live with a Neurotic Cat", which was originally published back in the '70s. Simon's videos leave us hysterical every time we watch them, which is often. I would highly recommend this book to any cat lover or friend of a cat lover. It's cute & funny and Simon Tofield is a wonderful illustrator. His talent is apparent in this book. If you like his videos-this book is a must have.
