I placed an order on 08/05/2010 for a book...a relatively small book. It is now 08/18/2010 and I have still not received this book. I think 13 days (11 BUSINESS days) is a rediculous amount of time to wait for a purchase. This is not a furniture item, and 7-10 business days is standard. I need this book for school, and now will not have it. Thank you for your great prices and poor service.

I read this book years ago. The author takes tidbits of Lincolns life and patches them together to formulate A. Lincoln style leadership principles. The man did a lot of research and the principles are solidified by the illustrations. A great 'self-help' book with a fun approach.

Great usage of leadership principles and US history. I'm a big fan of both genres and Donald Phillips did an excellent job of incorporating Lincoln's core leadership traits, wrapping them up in demonstrated historical events and summarizing how you can use them in business. What I look for in a book is the ability for you to use the information to improve yourself and this book has too many examples to list. Great work!!!
