Every Halloween, the six Herdman kids steal candy, spray-paint other kids, and take everything that isn't nailed down. And this year promises to be the same, until the Mayor decides to up and cancel Halloween. True, that means there'd be no Herdman trouble to contend with, but that also means no candy, no costumes, and no trick-or-treating! Is it possible that the Herdmans themselves could make what looks like a horrible Halloween into the best one ever? Average Rating:
 Rating:  - Almost The Best EverI enjoyed the Best Halloween Ever, but probably more because Robinson's Best Christmas....will forever be one of the best books I've ever read then for any other reason. The Herdmans are almost just as wonderfully Herdman-esque during Halloween as they were in Christmas. I think if you read the books as the holidays fall, you will not be disappointed in the least. My son is not a fan of reading however, this book kept his attention. The descriptions were vivid and entertaining. Rating:  - great book but end made no sense.I read The Best Christmas present ever so I ordered this book. It was as good as the first till the ending which made no sense. They never explained why what happened happened. I was disapointed. Rating:  - Great as alwaysWe love all of Barbara Robinson's books. My family read The Best Christmas Pageant Ever when I was young and I read it to my daughter as soon as she was old enough to listen. This book like her other "Best" books make you laugh out loud at the characters and make you see true human nature. It is not just a children's book by any means. Read More Rating: - You've got to read this book!This book is crazy! The Herdmans go into their school for halloween and steal all the candy. When the other kids are looking for the candy, they turn off the power! You really should read this cause it will make you fall over laughing!
